

Chloe Schellen - 10 April
Congratulations to 15 year old Chloe Schellen of Unity College for playing 100 junior games for the Mannum Netball Club. Chloe began playing at age 9, her favourite position is Centre and she cites her greatest netball moment so far as being part of a premiership team for the Roos in 2009. A great achievement for a young person who provides insightful advice, ‘Always try your best and never give up’.

Lauren Wiblin & Shanay Robinson - 14 May
Congratulations to Lauren Wiblin (pictured left) and Shanay Robinson (pictured right) for playing 100 games each for the Mannum Netball Club on Saturday at Meningie. This milestone is a great achievement for these young players who are contributing positively to the future of the club.

Kelly Kuhn and Narelle Simons - 4 June
Congratulations to both Kelly Kuhn (pictured left) for playing 100 seniors games, and Narelle Simons for her 100th junior game (pictured right) for the Mannum Roos Netball Club against Imperials on Saturday. Kelly began playing for Mannum in season 2001 after the Perponda Netball club folded, and has since been away from the court for three seasons due to a foot injury and having children. She says the highlight of her involvement with the Roos netball club is being part of the 2003 A grade premiership team and the celebrations that followed. Narelle is a student at the Mannum Community College and began playing for the Roos when she was 8 years old. Her favourite position is goal keeper, and she cites her greatest netball moment so far as being part of the Under 15 Div 2 premiership team for the Roos in 2009.

Kellie Schmidt - 9 July
Congratulations to Kellie Schmidt (pictured) for playing 150 senior games for the Mannum Roos Netball Club in the A grade match against Meningie on Saturday. Combined with her junior games, Kellie has the highest number of recorded games played for the Mannum Roos Netball Club Inc, tallying at 291. At the tender age of 25, this is a wonderful achievement for Kellie, who has also invested many hours in voluntary positions for the Roos, and previously served as President of the RMNA Association. A very successful player, Kellie has been rewarded with Association Best and Fairest in A Reserves, and Runner up Best and Fairest on 3 occasions. Kellie says she plays netball to keep fit and have fun, and her one piece of advice is to never give up.

Tracy Loechel - 30 July
Congratulations to Tracy Loechel (pictured) for playing 150 senior games for the Mannum Roos Netball Club in the A grade match against Mypolonga on Saturday. Tracy started playing netball around the age of six for the Perponda Grass Parrots and has since played for SA Country and Contax in State League and Reserves. While playing for the Mannum Roos, Tracy has been rewarded with the prestigious River Murray A Grade Association Best and Fairest on 3 occasions, she represented the Association in the premiership Country Carnival team, and was part of the Mannum A Grade premiership team in 2003.

Sarah Maloney - 13th August
Congratulations to Sarah Maloney for playing 100 senior games for the Mannum Roos Netball Club in the C grade match against Imperials on Saturday. Sarah started playing netball around the age of eight for the Mannum Roos has had a number of career highlights during this time, including being part of a 1997 premiership team, and runner up best and fairest for the B & C grades in the club during 2002, 2007 and 2008.

Amy Loechel - 20 August
Congratulations to Amy Loechel (pictured) for playing 150 senior games for the Mannum Roos Netball Club in the A grade match against Ramblers on Saturday. Amy started playing netball around the age of six for the Perponda Grass Parrots and has since played for the SA State Country Representative Team and was part of the ETSA Contax State League squad. While playing for the Mannum Roos, Amy has been rewarded with the prestigious River Murray A Grade Association Best and Fairest in 2002 and was runner up in 2006. She represented the Association in the premiership Country Carnival team, and was part of the Mannum A Grade premiership team in 2003.
